SANCTIFIED SUNDAY

Happy Sunday everyone! Normally I would tell you something wonderful that I've heard or learned at church today. However, I did not make it there this morning after fighting some stomach issues the past 2 days. I do have something GREAT & MARVELOUS to share with you all though!! :)

That's It! :) What's yours?? Mine is ... Hope? Hope!! Before Christ, I had no hope. Nothing to push me through trials & bad circumstances of life. With Jesus, I KNOW I have HIM beside me, pushing me forward & giving me the HOPE and strength to move on. I can give you so many times in my life where I can see that His hand has been there guiding me...leading my path to the Hope of security & Trust in HIM! I have 2 beautiful boys to prove it!! :) Boys that I never thought that I would have! I will be celebrating Mothers Day next week....a day that used to make me cry! HOPE? YOU BET!!!! I HAVE IT!! :)

I encourage you that do not know anything about the E.A.C.H. movement here in Michigan, to go to the website & check it out. It is a wonderful outreach that we are doing here. Lots of churches coming together to spread the Word so that Everyone has A Chance to Here about the life saving LOVE of the Lord!

In order to spread the Word, we are, as churches united, going out into our communities sharing the Word & doing good deeds. We have shirts, mugs, and different things that share our 2 Word Stories for people to see. Our children have been taught about witnessing & also have rubber bracelets & dog tag necklaces with Friend? Friend. written on them. The dog tags also have a heart, the number 4, and "U" on them. All of these are tools to start conversations with people, to witness about the Lord & how He has changed our lives!

I am pleased and soooo very proud to share a story.....

Brian & our 8 yr old son, Dakota, were at the grocery store today, and a guy who works there that we have befriended throughout the years asked Dakota about his E.A.C.H. 2 word story dog tags that were hanging around his neck! They say 'Friend? Friend!' and the other dog tag has a heart, the number 4 & the letter U on it. Dakota went on to explain that before Jesus he didn't know that he had a friend & now that he asked Jesus into his heart, Jesus is his BEST Friend! He also explained that the other tag meant that Jesus loves us so much that he died on the cross for you! The guy then asked Dakota for one of the dog tags! Dakota gave him the 'Friend? Friend!' one. Now when Ed looks at them, he will not only think of Dakota, but the meaning behind the dog tag...JESUS!! We were then able to explain to Dakota how he planted a seed in Ed's life. We told him that he should now start praying for Ed, that one day he will ask Jesus into his heart too! It was such a proud moment for us as parents. To see Dakota so excited about sharing the Lord with a 'friend'...just an AWESOME day! :) Praying for Ed & praying that the Lord will continue to water that seed, that one day he will accept His Creator.
