He'll Be Faithful to Complete It...

Phillipians 1:6

"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."

He who began a good work in you. He who began a good work in you....will be faithful to complete it. He'll be faithful to complete it. He who started the work, will be Faithful to complete it in you!

I remember years ago singing the words of that song in church. Do you? Great song...but an even GREATER promise from our Lord. There have been other times in my life where I have seen this truth come to light. For instance...becoming a mom. The Lord was faithful to complete that. I never thought it would happen. But, He started the work...and He completed it the day He brought our wonderful boys into our lives.

Today, I am rejoicing again over this great truth!

There have been years that Brian and I prayed knowing in our hearts that the Lord was leading Brian to lead worship some place. We knew that He had laid it upon Brian's heart & we were just waiting for him to complete the work. We went through some times where we wondered, when Lord? It's hard waiting, isn't it? But the Lord had already been working. He already had a plan. He already knew the when and the where. All in HIS timing.

We walked into Covenant Community Church in Redford, MI back in October of 2012. I will never forget it. We weren't sure that first Sunday if we would ever go back. But, we loved the sermon & the people were so incredibly friendly, that it took about an hour after the service was over for us to leave! We went back that next week and have been going ever since & have loved every minute of it!

It was maybe that first or second week that the Lord began working in Brian about the position of Worship leader at the church. Well, as of this week, it is now official! All of those years of waiting have lead to this.....Brian is now the Praise & Worship Leader at Covenant Community!! I am so incredibly proud and excited for him!! This is what, we believe, he has been called to do and it is now happening! The Lord has been faithful and is completing this work in and through him!

WE are so excited about this new opportunity! Brian is getting a Praise & Worship Team together with a Praise Band. It will be so great to be standing along side of him praising our Lord together! I truly believe that He was created to do this! Looking forward to see how the Lord leads & what He has in store for our new church! If you don't have a church home, come on out!
